"Nadeen!!! Nadeen!!! Where'd you go!?" Leon cried as he searched for his new friend. She'd been taken away right under his nose. How could I not notice!? How could I be so stupid?! He ran down alleyway after alleyway with no sucess. Leon panted, the dark blue sky changed to a pinkish red colour. He'd been out all night. It was getting colder and Leon could see his breath come out in small puffs. He ran back to the main street and shouted once more,"NADEEN!!!" Nothing,"What if whoever took her hurt her...no...no they couldn't..." He'd seen vicious slaughters and massacres when he worked with Interpol, but he couldn't picture Nadeen lying there, blood stained and lifeless. He shook the thoughts out of his head. Was he feeling affection for Nadeen? Leon wasn't sure, but he pushed the thoughts away and began to remember what Claire had told him, Nadeen grew up in an orphanage in Venice, the wolf said, I think it was outside of the main city. "That's it! Mabye she excaped and she went back!" The tiger wasn't positive Nadeen was there, but it was worth a shot. Leon ran to his motorcycle and headed toward Venice.
"Leon!! Damn it, where are you!!?!" Nadeen yelled at the top of her lungs. The cold stung her cheeks, making them rose red. "Where is he...," she muttered to herself. Nadeen sighed, she had no choice but to go back to the orphanage, but with Sly and Tyler fighting over her, it was hell. Nadeen sighed again, I guess I have to... She placed the knife she stole from her captor in a makeshift holster on her ankle and began to run back to the orphange.
Tyler walked into the main room to find Tara sipping tea and reading her Stars of Today magazine. Sly was no where to be found.
"Where's Cooper?" Tyler asked the blonde fox.
"Gone..." she replied without looking up.
"Gone where?" he countered in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Nadeen's gone, Tyler. Sly went to look for her."
Tyler's eyes grew wide,"What?! Why?!"
Tara glared up at Tyler,"You're asking me why?! You and Sly fight over her like two lions over a peice of meat, damn it!! Don't you think she went through enough!?!"
The wolf felt guilty,"I...but I..."
"It's better you just sit your ass down and wait for Sly to come back." She turned back to her magazine.
Tyler walked to the door,"I'm going to look for her..." he ran outside without another word.
Leon began to slow down as he approached the orphanage. He removed the black helmet and placed it on bike. Leon walked to the huge double doors and knocked. It slowly opened to reveal Tara staring back at him,"May I help you?" She asked politely.
"I'm Leon, I know from a source that you're a close friend of Nadeen Fox?"
Tara stared at Leon with suspicion,"Y-yes, I am."
"Is she here?"
"May I come in?"
Tara moved aside and opened the doors further apart,"Please."
Leon smiled and walked inside.
Nadeen took her time returning to the orphanage. On her way back, she began thinking of Claire and Kat. She missed Starlets, she even missed John's hurried attitude. Mabye I should head back...Nadeen sighed heavily. I guess I should go back...She began to think about Sly. He really cared about her, and even though she left Chloe and her to die, she still felt for him. What the hell is wrong with me? How could I still love him....after the hell he put me through, how am I still feeling these things?! Distracted by her mental ranting, she found herself already at the orphanage. She didn't want to go in through the front door, thinking she would wake the orphans. Instead she climbed up a drain pipe to the roof. As Nadeen pulled herself up, she heard soft murmering from the roof. She pulled herself onto the old concrete and sighed. That's it...I'm going back...Her mind was made up. She looked down and saw Leon's bike. Nadeen jumped down and mounted the bike. "Let's see...what did Murray saw? Red wire to blue...or was it red to green..." She tried mulitple combinations until she heard a rev of the bike's engine. "Got it!" Nadeen wore Leon's helmet and reved the bike before heading off.
I wonder what Leon will do when he figures out I stole his bike...Oh well. Nadeen reved the bike once more and got a burst of speed. She glanced at a large green sign post, 4 miles to Sicily. "Finally!" She yelled to herself,"Almost home..."
